First Domestic Postdoctoral Station Set Up in Xinye


As informed from Xinye Special Steel, the company's application for special steel postdoctoral station has been approved by Hubei Provincial Personnel Bureau and Huangshi City Personnel Bureau. It is expected that the Xinye Postdoctoral Station will formally run in Oct.

According to Xinye Special Steel, they will create tax payment RMB1 billion, earn foreign exchange USD100 million by the end of this year. The setup of this postdoctoral station will enhance their comprehensive technological strength to a level close to or above the world advanced level, strengthening their core competitiveness, bringing development of regional industry and improving economic developement of Hubei province.

At present, Xinye Special Steel employ 955 technical staffs engaged in different fields, 23 of whom were entitled to subsidies from provincial government and the State Council. Also, they boast 12 national invention patents, 7 technological achievements reaching international advanced level, 18 accomplishments filling domestic gap. In recent two years, Xinye has won China Metallurgy Scientific Technology Award and Provincial Scientific Achievement Award several times.
