Fengda Steel to Launch Phase One of Special Steel Project

It was reported that phase one of a special steel production project including three production lines will start trial production in China Hebei Province in mid-April. Hebei Province-based Fengda Iron and Steel Company is the investor in the project.

The main products will be high strength reinforcement bar used for pre-stressed concrete, high strength steel strip for packaging and high strength tension bars used in long-span bridges.

Phase one has cost an estimated CNY 1 billion while it has a designed annual output of 500,000 tonnes of special steel products.
