On Feb. 28th, it was known from Henan Coal Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. (HNCC) that an extra large slewing bearing with independent intellectual property was produced on Feb. 26th in one if the subsidiaries of the group---Luoyang LYC Bearing Co., Ltd.; the outer diameter of the bearing is 6.25 meters with the weight of 14.07 tons. LYC Company created the best of the bearing products in China again through its solid technology strength and advanced manufacturing level.
It was learned that the success of this set of bearing not only break through the situation in China that this kind of extra large bearings depended on import, but only indicated that the bearing manufacturing technology in China has reached a new level.
To succeed in the research of this localized substitute product, the Company overcame many difficulties in product lathe processing, heat treatment, grinding processing and axial clearance, etc. after more than one month through its technological advantage, equipments advantage and comprehensive strength, carried through the ultralimit processing according to higher precision grade and finally ensured that the product precision has reached the highest grade of this kind of products---P5.
On Feb. 26th, the bearing which is almost as high as a two-floor building was assembled successfully at once in the LYC extra large bearing plant and passed the inspection and reception on the spot.
