According to the news from China Hubei Provincial Science & Technology Department on Marth 9th, 2011, high purity carbon chromium bearing steel, carburized bearing steel, high hardenability gear steel, high performance spring steel, alloy tool & die steel, cutting non-quenched & tempered steel, supercritical high pressure boiler steel and high alloy structural steel from Xinyegang have been recognized as 2010 Hubei Independent Innovation Products.
In the first half year of 2010, the sales gross profit in Xinyegang achieved 821 million yuan with the year-on-year rose of 166.20, and the sales gross rate reached 11.76 with the year-on-year growth of 4.56, meanwhile the sales increased by 424,200 tons compared with the same period of last year, the products' profit rose by 167 million yuan. In the meanwhile, the gear steel, spring steel & bearing steel respectively increased by 41.12, 22.21 & 19.19 compared with the first half year, and the construction steel & cutting steel respectively rose by 132.22 & 57.83. Besides, the military market in Xinyegang has effectively developed, followed by the development of blade steel, deep drawing steel for shell, and the sales of 11CR2NI2W2MOV with the year-on-year rose of 63, 1CR12NI2WMOVNB with the year-on-year growth of 200.
