EBC Increased the Revenues

The revenues of European Bearing Corp. (EBC) gained 10.6bn rub. in 2007 which is 33.4% higher prior year, the company informed.The pretax profit rose 43.3% to 1.92bn rub.; profitabiity coming up 18% against 17% last year.

EBC involves Volzhsky Bearing Plant, Moscow Bearing, Moscow Aviation Bearing Plant, Aviation Bearing Plant (Samara), EBC research center. The Company covers 37% of the Russian market and a monopolist in this sector. The major holder (79%) is Orionbay Trading Corp., 19% are held by Parkwood United Corp.

The 2007-turnover gained 10.6bn rub.; pretax profit - 1.8bn rub.; output - 24mln bearings.

The 2006-revenues gained $7.87bn; pretax profit - 1.34bn rub.; profitability - 17%; sales - 26.5mln tires. Over a year period 435mln rub. were invested in the development. The market share in Russia covers 42%.
