Domestic first fastener export quality & safety demonstration zone settled in Ningbo

 Ningbo Inspection and Quarantine Bureau today reported that Ningbo Zhenhai Export Fastener Quality & Safety Demonstration Zone had passed the on-site inspection of the expert group, becoming the first fastener export quality & safety demonstration zone in China.

As China's most important fastener production and export base, Ningbo City was known as the "Capital of Fastener". From January to October in 2016, the output value of fastener products in Ningbo reached 690 million US dollars, including the export value of 270 million US dollars. Wherein, the output value of enterprises from Zhenhai Export Fastener Quality & Safety Demonstration Zone reached 390 million US dollars, including the export value of 160 million US dollars. 

At present, the region's total output of the fastener industry accounted for about 1/2 of Ningbo City and 1/16 of the whole country. Products have been exported to the United States, the European Union and Japan.
