DMG China Opens New Asian Spare Parts Center in Shanghai



DMG China, a subsidiary of Gildemeister AG, recently held a ceremony to open its new Asia spare parts center based in Shanghai.

With an investment of RMB25 million, the new, 800-square-meter center will initially stock more than 2500 units of spare parts in some 900
categories, including spindles, electric pumps, servo motors, and glides. It plans to raise its inventory to RMB50 million in value by year end.

With the new technical center on stream, DMG targets to manage spare parts shipment within China to less than three days.

DMG China President Hanno Elbrachter stressed that they were striving to be a customer-oriented company in China, providing customers with
comprehensive solutions and long-ternm technical support, in addition to being a machine tool sales business.
