At CTT 2012 this week, Dana Holding Corporation (NYSE: DAN) will demonstrate its leadership as a Tier 1 supplier to OEMs in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States by introducing new, technologically advanced drivetrain systems, as well as new Moscow-based business development resources dedicated to serving the region.
Located in the CONEXPO Russia exhibit area in Pavilion 2, Hall 8, Stand 8-510, Dana will showcase an integrated drivetrain system for 15-tonne (16.5-ton) front-end loaders that includes the new Spicer® TZL16 powershift transmission, Spicer Model 2040 Compact™ Series driveshafts, and Spicer 114 industrial planetary rigid axles.
Dana has recently established a new office in Moscow led by Roman Pichugin, business development manager, to expand the company's footprint in the Russian and CIS off-highway markets and better meet the evolving needs of OEMs across the region. The office will also address service parts needs in the region.
"CTT is the ideal forum for Dana to highlight our focus on research and development, which produces complete drivetrain systems that improve the productivity and fuel efficiency of construction equipment and other off-highway applications," said Aziz Aghili, president of Dana Off-Highway Driveline Technologies. "Our dedicated presence in Russia and the CIS will ensure that Dana is positioned to better collaborate with OEMs and the aftermarket and meet the region's growing demand for technologically advanced construction vehicles."
Offering higher horsepower capability, reduced maintenance, and smoother, quieter operation, the Spicer TZL16 transmission is the first in a line of powershift transmissions for front-end loaders to be produced at Dana's assembly facility in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China. Dana launched production of the Spicer TZL16 transmission in February 2012.
The Spicer Model 114 planetary rigid axle helps mid-sized front end loaders perform a variety of tasks by providing excellent traction and reliable braking. Combining force with control, this axle reduces fuel consumption and improves performance.
CTT 2012: 13th International Show of Construction Equipment and Technologies is the leading construction event in Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe, offering an extensive range of innovative equipment, machinery, and technologies for leading manufacturers and suppliers of services and equipment.
