Counterfeit SKF Bearings Seized In Tieling City, Liaoning Province

On Oct 12 2007, Tieling Administration Bureau of Industry and Commerce raid the warehouse of Tiemei (Group) Material Distribution Center and seized some counterfeit SKF Bearings.

After investgation, these counterfeit bearings, including 4pcs of 61838MA/C3 and 10pcs of NU328ECM/C3, worth over RMB 70000 Yuan, were confirmed to be purchased from an M & E company from Shandong Province.

Experts from SKF China Group announced these bearings are not genuine SKF bearings after careful identification. Tieling Administration Bureau of Industry and Commerce seized all these bearings and imposed a fine of RMB 130,000 Yuan on Tiemei (Group).
