CNPC Plans to Transfer 0.34% of PetroChina to Baosteel free

SHANGHAI, June 20, SinoCast -- China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) plans to transfer 624 million shares, or 0.34% equities, in PetroChina Corporation to Baosteel Group free of charge in order to strengthen strategic partnership between the two sides.

Prior to the transfer, CNPC held 158.034 billion shares in PetroChina, representing 86.35% equities; Baosteel Group did not hold any equities in PetroChina.
