Chinese Little Giant Starts Third-Phase Expansion

The third-stage expansion project of China-based Little Giant Machine Tool Co Ltd has recently broken ground.

The RMB120 million project, when on stream, will provide the company an annual machine tool production of 4,000 machine tools, representing a double of the current capacity. Annual production value will exceed RMB3 billion.

Until the end of October 27, 2007, Little Giant has produced approximately 4,000 machine tools since its establishment in May 2000. This year alone the company will have been sold 1,500 machine tools at RMB650 million by year end.
