China Builds World-largest Die Forging Press

China National Erzhong Group Co recently announced the official start-up of the world largest die forging press machine, surpassing the current highest one with 75,000 tons of forging capacity owned in Russia, upon the approval of Chinese National Development and Reform Commission.

This kind of equipment is a kind of key equipment to manufacture large aircrafts. Before China only the US, Russia and France possess the ability to produce it.

The 2.5-year project will involve an investment of RMB1,517 million.
