China Bearing Exhibition Hall Selected as National Popular Science Education Base

On November 20th, the China Bearing Exhibition Hall, located at Xiyuan Campus of Henan University of Science and Technology, was officially listed as National Popular Science Education Base.

China Bearing Exhibition Hall was co-founded by China Bearing Industrial Association and Henan University of Science and Technology in 2004. It is Chinese first professional exhibition hall with the theme of bearings.

With an area of 800 square meters and collections of more than 400 pieces of bearings, the exhibits of this exhibition hall include the high-grade, precision and advanced bearings for national aerospace vehicle and the smallest miniature bearing in the world. Since the establishment, over 40,000 people outside the university have visited the hall.

Four units in total are listed as National Popular Science Education Base in Henan province this time, and the China Bearing Exhibition Hall of Henan University of Science and Technology is the only one unit in Luoyang.
