China Ball Bearing's Import from Indonesia Surpasses the Export

As the third largest motercycle market, Indonisian has a huge potentials for bearings.

According to the data from China Custom statistics, the volume of China ball bearings exported to Indonesia increased yearly from 2000 to 2005. The amount in 2005 hit the highest--31.21029 million sets. Meanwhile, the import of Indonesian ball bearing increased year by year and the highest reached 48.28732 million sets. China ball bearing import value has surpassed export since 2001. In addition, the deficit continues increasing per year.

The continuous increase of China's ball bearing import from Indonesia is mainly duo to the following reasons:

a.Yearly decrease of the export price of Indonesian bearings;
b.China to reduce the import tariffs;
c.Bottlenecks in China bearing export market.
