There are about 4000 to 5000 bearing factories in China, among which 1750 factoeies have a certain scale (annual sales more than 5 million Yuan). There are only 30 bearing companies can offer automotive bearing because of the higher demand of car bearing.
At the present time, China automotive bearing industry develop rapidly, which represented by leading suppliers as ZWZ, LYC, HRB, Wanxiang Group, ZXY and HL Bearing. But we still have a rather big gap with developed countries because the proportion of high degree of accuracy, high technology content and high value added products are on the low side. The native brand bearings enjoy higher shares in commercial vehicle market, among which one third of products are of high precision and high level.
The native bearing enterprises such as ZWZ, LYC and HRB have a high proportion of high-end products and their products feature with stable and reliable quality, whereas products of the general companies are mainly used in middle and low level auto market. The trucks mainly use native brand products as well as the low-end cars, but luxury cars mainly use foreign brand products.
