Changjiang Bearing Site-Moving Project Finish in 2009
"We need lots of competitive enterpirses like Chongqing Changjiang Bearing Co.,Ltd. who can launch such a profitable projects on a not-so-large site." said Huang qifan, vice Mayor of Chongqing city on the groundbreaking ceremony of Changjiang Bearing's moving and technological upgrading project.
Changjiang Bearing is one of the first group of domestic bearing producers using imported equipments. The CJB bearings are widely used in many fields like motorcycle, automobile, machine tool, construction machine, electrical motor etc. And their products have been exported to Europe, South America, Africa and other countries and regions.
With employees of 850, Changjiang Bearing accomplished output value of RMB400 million, profit of RMB40 million in 2006.
With investment over RMB800 million and covering an area of 263mu(175,421 square meters), the moving and technological upgrading project locate in Chayuan district. This project will be completed and put into full production in 2009. Then, they can produce 140 million bearings per year, making sales income of RMB1.5 billion, providing more than 1600 new jobs.
"On a site of 263mu, they are expected to make sales income of RMB1.5 billion a year; the output value per mu is RMB60 million, a record high among enterprises in the Chayuan district." said Huang. He added that as a traditional industry-based municipality, it is not enough for Chongqing to be known for its hot-pot and beauties. With the readjusting of industrial structure and accelerating pace of modern industries, Chongqing are going to be appreciated for another key word, industry.
