Changjiang Bearing Sale Hit RMB200m in First-half
With the implementation of 11th Five-Year Plan in 2006, Chongqing Changjiang Bearing Industrial Corporation also set their new objective to be the world leading bearing producer in the next five years. They concentrated on the operation policy of "adhering to technological and managerial innovation, expanding businesses in auto and motorcycle industries, opening market for assets products, carrying out planned new site construction".
Through concerted effort, they overcame the negative factors caused by increasing price for steel, oil and other raw materials as well as the price reduction for most bearings. Besides, great efforts have been made to strengthen quality control, purchase and supplying chain and logistics system. As a result, sale of the company has reached RMB200 million in the first-half.
In the first quarter, some macro-control policies were implemented to adjust consumption tax for enterprises producing automobiles and motorcycles, bringing a negative impact on Changjiang Bearing. However, the company gave play to the important role of regional marketing and integration operation, forming several new economic growth points.
One is contributed by motorcycle engine and crankshft factory, whose received orders increased by more than 25 percent. Another is their 028 series products, a kind of braking device for compact cars. The last one is bearings for gearbox.
