Changing Export Subsidy Rate Encourage M.E. Products Export

China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of M.E. Products source, export subsidy rate for M.E. products have been raised from 13% to 17%, favorable for lowering cost of export, expanding its export.

Earlier, the Chamber had reduced export subsidy rate for metal materials like steel, copper and other non-ferrous metal. The rate for steel was reduced by 3 percentage points; for copper was cut from 13% to 5%; for other metals were declined by 8, 5 or 2 percentage points.

As a result, it will be expensive for the metal material producers to export. Instead, they may pay more attention to domestic market, which can encourage the competition, leading to lower price. This will be favorable for lowering the production cost of M.E. products.

Now the raising export subsidy rate for M.E. products further enhance producers' activity in export.
