Ceramic Bearings Now Volume-Produced In China

Dalian Dayou Precision Ceramic Bearing Co. Ltd. announced it is now able to produce ceramic and steel-ceramic hybrid bearings in high volumes.

The new plant, built in Dalian province, is the first of its kind in China.

Founded in mid-2005, Dalian Dayou Precision Ceramic Bearing is an offshoot of Dalian Dayou Advanced Ceramic Co. Ltd. Advanced Ceramic has focused on high-precision ceramic bearing ball and other component production since its founding in 2001.

The government in China has been actively supporting ceramic bearing research, development and manufacturing initiatives. The "863" Chinese National Plan established the Chinese Precision Ceramic Bearing Project, which gave rise to Dalian Dayou Precision Ceramic Bearing.
