Boca Bearings sponsored F1 in schools team Time Flies shares Q2 results: With the F1 in Schools 2012 National Finals closed, this is the checkered flag of the Afonso Lopes Vieira School - Time Flies Racing Team 1st participation. Our initial goal was doing our best with the resources that we were able to join and try to put the team in the top ten. That was clearly achieved. The 6th place overall which is joined with the 2nd fastest car in the Final (1.113s), is something that was not in our best thoughts, especially after knowing that the winning Monsters Team was already in the 4th consecutive participation and a budget 5 times bigger . This achievement is a result of five students' and a teacher's hard work in the areas of marketing, public relations, design, engineering over six months but, we know that without the absolutely fundamental support of our sponsors and partners, little would have been achieved. Congratulations Time Flies!!
