Boca Bearings Ceramic Bearings Serve Versatility in Magnet Manufacturing Boca Bearing Company is expanding its product inventory to accommodate bearings and lubricants typically used in the magnet manufacturing process. Boca Bearings offers ceramic bearings, standard bearings and a variety of specialty lubricants.
Boca Bearing Company is introducing a new line of full ceramic bearings, ceramic hybrid bearings and specialty lubricants catered towards the needs of the magnet manufacturing industry. Ceramic bearings by Boca Bearings can be utilized in a wide range of magnet manufacturing environments, ranging from high temperatures, working with heavy loads and liquids to electric and high pressure applications. Ceramic hybrid bearings are made out of ceramic balls and stainless steel races. Ceramic weighs up to 40% less than steel which decreases centrifugal load and skidding. The lighter weight of ceramic balls allows the bearing to spin faster and use less energy to maintain speed than a traditional steel bearing. Full ceramic bearings have ceramic races and ceramic balls and are far superior to common steel bearings in extreme environments. Ceramic bearings can operate in particularly high temperatures reaching upwards of 1800
