Birmingham Fastener announces ISO 9001:2008 Certification of its Manufacturing Operations

Birmingham Fastener is proud to announce that on April 26, 2013 our Manufacturing Division was awarded certification for ISO 9001:2008. With this achievement, both our distribution and manufacturing operations are now operating under the guidelines set forth by the International Organization for Standardization, which provides us with guidelines for excellence for all aspects of our business. Our distribution operations received their certificate in 2010.

Birmingham Fastener Manufacturing Division was established in 1985 and now has 300,000 square feet of production, packaging, assembly and distribution on a 37 acre campus. We manufacture standard and special fasteners and steel components for the structural steel fabrication, OEM, heavy equipment, metal building, transportation, water works and utilities industries.

Our Distribution Division supplies a complete line of fasteners and assembly components to customers throughout the U.S., Canada, South and Central America. Services include; kitting, job packing, assembly, powder coating, engineering support and product supply, through both standard order methods and custom tailored VMI programs.
Founded in 1980, Birmingham Fastener has locations in Alabama, Texas, Florida and Nebraska and is headquartered at 931 Avenue W, Birmingham, AL 35214.
