The new Boca Bearing Bike Bearing Installer has arrived. The Bike Bearing Installer is designed to make the installation of ceramic hybrid bearings and full ceramic bearings as easy as possible. Bearing technology continues to evolve for high-end road and mountain bikes and the installation process requires slightly more care than standard bearings. It is very important not to use any kind of jarring impact or blunt force when installing ceramic bearings. The Boca Bearing Bike Bearing Installer evenly pulls bearings into almost any bicycle housing, eliminating the possibility of cracking or damaging the bearings.
Boca's new Bike Bearing Installer is available in three different versions. The Bike Hub Bearing Installer will work for all of the popular bicycle hubs on the market and is suitable for use with bearings in the 12mm to 27mm outer diameter range. The Bottom Bracket Bearing Installer will work for all of the popular bottom brackets on the market and is suitable for use with bearings in the 21mm to 36mm range. The Universal Bike Bearing Installer can be used with bearings in the 12mm to 36mm range.
The installation process requires little more than finding the right size washers to match the outer diameter of the bearing being installed, inserting the shaft through the housing and tightening down the Bike Bearing Installer using an allen wrench and open end wrench. The bearings will be pulled into the housing straight and even without the possibility of chipping or damaging them. No more banging on the bearings with rubber mallets, wood blocks and hammers. Now everyone can install their ceramic hybrid and full ceramic bearings with confidence.
