Entering into 2010, Beiman Special Steel Co., Ltd. of Dongbei Special Steel Group Co., Ltd. has transformed the concept, speed up the expanding of high end bearing steel market according to features of post-crisis era. In May, the output of high end bearing steel of the company reached 9,092 tons, which took up 55.04% of the total bearing steel output of the company.
Since this year, Beiman Special Steel speed up the adjustment of product structure and transformed the products from low end, low added value to high end and high added value, which became one of the important measures of the company to speed up development in the post-crisis era. Beiman Special Steel Company has worked closely with the technology center of Dongbei Special Steel Group, enlarged the new product development and carried out trial-manufacture of several types of high end bearing steel such as 100Gr6/S130000, wind power High Carbon Ferro-chrome Electroslag steel Ggr15SiMn, NSJ2, and high hardenability Ggr18Mo, etc. and achieved success in the first trial-manufacture. In addition, the content of oxygen, titanium and inclusion of the bearing steel has met the SKF3S standard and the level 4 standard of the company. The qualification rate of
physics-chemistry inspection was 100% and the qualification rate of users inspection was also 100%.
Statistics show that from January to April the new bearing steel product of the company has been accumulated to 1,004 tons, which took 200.88% of the total development in the whole year. The development and production of high end bearing steel has been accumulated to 1,0242 tons.
