Bearing Steel of Echeng Steel Company Marched into High End Market

From October this year, Special Steel Company of Shougang Group which is well-known in the special steel market has lowered the price of GCr15 bearing steel and the price was 100 yuan/ton lower than that of the bearing steel of Wuhan Iron & Steel Group Echeng Iron & Steel Co., Ltd.(Echeng Steel Company), which indicated that bearing steel of Echeng Steel Company successfully entered into the medium and high end market.

Before this, the model enterprises in bearing industry such as Luoyang Bearing (LYC) Plant, Xiangyang Automobile Bearing Co., Ltd.(ZXY) have used the GCr 15 bearing steel products of Echeng Steel Company successively in September and October.

GCr15 bearing steel is mainly used for manufacturing of the key parts of automobiles and tractors such as couplings and balls,etc. It is also used in manufcturing tools like measures and die casting tools,etc. So GCr15 bearing steel is required to have good quality and performance as well as wear and high temperature resistance. Echeng Steel Company started to produce GCr15 bearing steel in September in 2007. In the three years, the product quality was successively imporved. Since last year, the Innovation Department of Wuhan Iron & Steel Group and Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Administration have authenticated the products on the spot for sevetal times and agreed that the GCr15 bearing steel of Echeng Steel Company has pure steel quality and excellent performance, and the product has reached the advanced level in China.
