Bearing Industry Success For ELTERMA

ELTERMA, part of the Seco/Warwick Group, has recently completed start-up of another A/SP-1200 furnace for spheroidal annealing of bearing ring forgings of 100Cr6 and 100CrMnSi6-4 steel. This follows several other similar projects that have been undertaken in 2005.

The latest furnace was delivered to Fabryka Łożysk Tocznych SA, the leading supplier of rolling bearings in Poland.

Furnace operation is automatic. The whole process is controlled by the installed computer visualisation system, which includes archiving and reporting.

At the end of 2005 ELTERMA, shipped another A/SP-1200 roller hearth furnace for the spheroidal annealing of bearing rings; this time to a rolling bearing producer
