Bearing Industry Promote Linqing Foreign Trade
From last year on, Linqing government has begun to strengthen themslef in conducting foreign trade and overcome various negative impact. In 2006, they have earned foreign exchange of over USD5 million through exporting internal combustion engines and bearings.
In past, Linqing city was notorious for its bearings of poor quality. With the deepening consciousness of quality and setup of bearing quality testing centers there in recent years, Linqing has transformed from dubious example into home of cost-effective bearings. Now, bearings with Linqing origin have become popular in both China and other countries.
For example, almost half of diesel engine in the ships sailing in the rivers in Indonesia are made by Dongfang Internal-Combustion Engine, a Linqing based company. And a large number of farm machines working in Africa equiped with bearings of Linqing origin.
At present, Linqing city has cultivated several major export-oriented bearing makers, such as Linqing Dragon Bearing, Halin Bearing, Libin Bearing etc. The developing of bearing and internal combustion engine industries in Linqing not only promote the local export but invigorate the progress of agriculture in some East Asian and African countries.
