Up to now, all the threaded steel produced by Bayi Steel rolling mill plant have been shifted to E type anti-seismic reinforcement, which marks anti-seismic threaded steel has substituted the conventional threaded steel and becomes one of the main products of Bayi Steel.
With With the massive construction of comfortable and indemnification housing in the autonomous region, there is increasing demand on anti-seismic reinforcement. As early as 2010, Bayi Steel acquired production licence of anti-seismic reinforcement, and started to develop high strength anti-seismic reinforcement products. In Aug. The same year, high grade hot rolling ribbed anti-seismic reinforcement is successfully rolled out. Once on the market, it is welcomed by the customers in Korla and Karamay, etc.
Last year, Bayi Steel started to promote anti-seismic reinforcement, and recommended such products to south Xinjiang, governmental projects and key construction projects.
This year, Xinjiang, Hebei, Yunnan and Jiangsu is defined as pilot application area. Bayi Steel has become the first supplier of anti-seismic product in autonomous region. In the first quarter, Bayi Steel produced 330,000 ton anti-seismic reinforcement, among which, 1833 ton of massive produced HRB500E reinforcement has been applied in Korla construction site.
In order to promote anti-seismic reinforcement, Bayi has modified the product logo from conventional blue iron logo to water proof, high temperature resistant and anti-corrosion green paper one, effectively avoid the market imitation.
