BASF Commits to Main Bearing Sealing Greases

ASF Construction Chemicals has opened a dedicated production plant for manufacturing main bearing sealing greases.

The company has also launched a new product line of excluder greases for tunnel boring machines, dubbed MEYCO BSG.

According to the manufacturer, major main bearing sealing manufacturers Merkel Freudenberg and James Walker have qualified its greases, allowing the product to be used globally.

BASF also provides other chemicals for machinery, including anti-dust and anti-abrasion agents, tail sealants, and admixtures for annulus grouts.
Other products in the MEYCO MP injection product line include rheocem microcements and concrete admixtures for segmental lining.
