In the New Year, the 2011 metallurgical product quality "Gold Awards" organized by Chinese and Steel Association announces its results. Baosteel 3 hot-rolling stainless steel products - 304, 316L, 430 not only gain "Gold Award", but also win the industry's highest quality award - "Premium Quality Award".

"Gold Award" is the authoritative metallurgical products quality recognition award in China. The "Premium Quality Award" is the highest metallurgical product quality award selected based on the "Gold Awards" and it is launched last year.

In recent years, through the introduction and assimilation of German Thyssen stainless steel quality integrated technology, Baosteel stainless steel product quality management quickly catches up with the world advanced level. In the last two years particularly, stainless steel business unit continues to promote the Six Sigma Organization building in order to lay a good foundation for further improving product quality.
