Baosteel and USAS Establish High-performance Construction Steel Material Joint Laboratory

In order to speed up strategic transition from "manufacturing" to "service", actively learn from the user service model of auto plate early intervention and deepen technical cooperation with construction industry leader, recently, Baosteel and USAS Metal Buidling System (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. formally sign comprehensive cooperation agreement and set up high-performance construction steel joint laboratory in Shanghai in order to work together for the progress of light steel product technology and manufacturing technology. USAS chairman and president Chen Boyan, Baosteel Central Research Institute and Baosteel Co.,Ltd. customer and product service department responsible personnel attend the joint laboratory inauguration ceremony.
USAS is a joint venture professional manufacturer of prefabricated metal building system and is a member of China Construction Metal Structure Association. Since entering the Chinese market, the company has developed into a main joint venture manufacturer and leading company in China's light steel structure field. Since Baosteel color coating and galvanized and aluminizing units' putting into operation, USAS and Baosteel have carried out long-term friendly cooperation in construction sector high-performance steel development, manufacturing technology upgrading and engineering application.

In the next stage, the two sides will take comprehensive technical cooperation agreement signing as an opportunity. In deepening technical cooperation, they will take USAS roof, wall and purlin as the medium and Baosteel various types of high-end construction steel and USAS steel structure advanced processing and application technology as the main means. They are committed to co-producing light steel structure products with comprehensive market competitiveness and jointly promoting China's light steel structure steel and terminal product technical progress.

In addition, based on the purpose of rational allocation of two sides' resources, the two sides will focus on construction steel research and application joint research team, terminal user light steel product system solution R & D. They will continue to play their respective advantages, do joint research, develop and apply light steel structure steel material new products and new technologies. They will work together to achieve win-win situation in high-end market expansion, application technology advancement and manufacturing capability enhancement.
