On September 21, Baosteel and China Commercial Aircraft signed new round of construction project steel material and steel structure supply framework agreement in Shanghai.Based on the cooperation principle of "equality, mutual benefit, friendly consultation", both sides will further strengthen cooperation in material procurement and supply to achieve mutual development.

Founded in 2008, China Commercial Aircraft is the first state holding aircraft company. It mainly developes large aircraft project in order to realize the industrialization of China's civil aircraft. On December 29, 2009, Baosteel and China Commercial Aircraft signed "China Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd.and Baosteel Group Co., Ltd. construction project steel supply framework agreement".In April 2010, the two sides signed "China Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd., and Baosteel Group Co., Ltd. construction project steel supply supplemental agreement". During the term of the agreement, as China Commercial Aircraft construction project main steel supplier, Baosteel provided its with package material service from "steel supply + steel structure in depth design + steel structure processing". As of now, Baosteel has supplied China Commercial Aircraft base construction project with accumulated 15,774 tons of material.
The new round of construction project steel material and steel structure supply framework agreement specifies Baosteel as main supplier of steel material and steel structure. Baosteel will provide China Commercial Aircraft with steel products, steel structure parts and steel products.The two sides agree that China Commercial Aircraft construction project will give priority to Baosteel and the various types of steel required by China Commercial Aircraft will be supplied through promotion, quality and quantity are guaranteed, given priority and according to demand.
Xu Lejiang offers thanks to China Commercial Aircraft for its long-term support.He says that being China Commercial Aircraft material supplier is Baosteel's development opportunity. High-end special steel, including stainless steel and high-temperature corrosion resistant steel are national follow-up sustainable development guarantee and research and development of such products is Baosteel's bounden duty. Baosteel will exert its own advantages and characteristics, and go all out to support the Commercial Aircraft's construction and development, support Chinese aircraft venture and help to achieve Chinese people's blue sky dream.
Jin Zhuanglong expresses thanks to Baosteel for its support to company construction in recent years. Before signing Ceremony, accompanied by Jin Zhuanglong and He Dongfeng, Xu Lejiang and his retinue visit assembly manufacturing center's assembly shop, "Yun 10" aircraft design and R & D center research office and experience C919 engineering simulator .
