Ingersoll Rand, a global leader in compressed air systems and services, power tools, and fluid and material handling equipment, expands its line of smart solutions from ARO® with the new SD line of FDA-compliant diaphragm pumps. The SD line is designed to pump and transfer materials for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries efficiently and safely.

Like the ARO® EXP Series of dual diaphragm pumps, the SD line yields 20-30 percent better flow rates than other products available on the market today and ensures material is transferred unharmed. With the quick-knock-down (QKD) design of the pump it can be disassembled rapidly making it easy to inspect, clean and maintain.
A number of advanced features make the SD pump ideal as a feed pump in a filling process, as a part of a “clean in place” practice, or in a high-volume dispensing application:
* The pump is fabricated with electropolish stainless steel with 3.2um surface roughness and FDA-compliant materials to pump material while maintaining the integrity of the product.
* An exclusive 316L ball valve supports the transfer of high temperature material.
* A proprietary design ensures there is no leakage, no material waste, and a service life that is four times better than traditional diaphragm pumps1.
Building on decades of ARO expertise, the SD pumps provide plant managers and maintenance engineers with the best cost of ownership rates in the industry.
