Arlington acquires precision engineering expert

Arlington Aerospace, part of Arlington Industries Group, has acquired North West Precision Limited (NWP), a business specialising in fasteners, cutting tools, tools and aircraft components.

The Birkenhead based business has over 30 years’ experience in supplying high quality components to the likes of Airbus, Hawker Beechcraft and BAE Systems.

Mark Franckel, Group CEO, said: "I believe that the newest addition to our aerospace division, NWP, represents an attractive commercial opportunity to grow stronger as a team and deliver efficient supply chain solutions to our customers."

John Brazier, CEO of Arlington Aerospace, added: “We are pleased to welcome on board NWP team and looking forward to sharing both, knowledge and experience, in harmony with our long terms plans.”

Arlington Aerospace specialises in global supply chain integration and acquires companies to deliver greater efficiency to its global customer base.

The integrated offer now combines design, manufacture, metrology, service and maintenance from a single source, something that you don’t come across too often in the supply chain.

It further strengthened its supply chain back in 2013 with the acquisition of AIM Engineering and in 2014, with Aerotech, which was subsequently rebranded as AIM Design.

Arlington Aerospace has recently opened a project office in Nantes, France to support its global customer base with highly skilled engineers.
