Anhui Province Forecast 350,000 Auto Output This Year

Recently, Machinery Industrial Association of Anhui province announced their first-half 2005 provincial machinery industry's operating report. Automobile industry has become the absolute main force in the field and auto output in Anhui will hit 350,000 in this year.

Obviously, auto industry has played a important role in fueling Anhui's machinery industy. During the first-half, more than 70 percent of the machinery output value which amounted RMB37.74 billion yuan was contributed by auto industry. Output value of Jianghuai Automobile Group which took up 20 percent of the total hit RMB6.48 billion yuan.

It is reported that output value of the two auto powers in Anhui kept a good momentum of growth. Output of Jianghuai Automobile Group hit 78,731 increased by 18.66%; Chery Automobile 863,44 increased by 68.8%. If this momentum of growth can be maintained, auto output will hit 350,000 this year in Anhui. Consequently, demand for auto parts will be increasing.
