Airline Hydraulics Corporation and SKF Lubrication Business Unit Sign Distribution Agreement

Airline Hydraulics Corporation (Airline) signed an agreement with the SKF Lubrication Business Unit (LBU) to become an authorized SKF LBU market focused channel partner. This channel partnership expands upon the distribution agreement between Airline and Lincoln Industrial Corporation which had been in effect for the past decade. In 2010, Lincoln was acquired by SKF, and due to Airline’s long-term success building Lincoln’s business through sales, system design, inventory, installation, service and repair, Airline was awarded the SKF contract. Airline will distribute SKF lubrication products, including Lincoln-branded and SKF products formerly sold under the Vogel brand, to construction and general industry markets in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Metro New York, Delaware, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. In Western Pennsylvania, Airline’s distribution will be focused in the metals market.

“We look forward to working closely with Airline Hydraulics Corp., our SKF LBU market focus channel partner, to grow their LBU business with both the SKF and Lincoln branded products,” commented James T. Hawk, Vice President of Sales in North America at SKF. Dave Wenner, Airline’s Fluid Systems Business Unit Manager, added, “This agreement with the industry-recognized name of SKF will help grow Airline’s lubrication business and will show our customers our continued commitment to bring them only the best in the industry.”

In addition to the Airline/SKF agreement, a similar market focus channel partnership was forged between Fluid Power Service, which was acquired by Airline Hydraulics Corp. in October 2012, and SKF. Fluid Power Service, located in Lancaster, NY and specializing in the repair, design and manufacture of industrial and mobile hydraulic machinery, is now authorized to distribute SKF and Lincoln branded lubrication products to construction and mobile-on-road markets in New York State.

SKF has been a leading global technology provider since 1907. SKF combines hands-on experience in over 40 industries with knowledge across technology platforms such as bearings and units, seals, mechatronics and lubrication systems.

Lincoln Lubrication, established in 1910, is a world leader in the manufacture and sale of lubrication and pumping equipment for industrial machinery, mobile equipment and vehicle service professionals. Lincoln is an SKF Group brand.

Headquartered in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia, Airline Hydraulics Corporation is an ISO 9001:2008 certified distributor of hydraulic, lubrication, pneumatic, automation and machine safeguarding products from leading manufacturers including Lincoln/SKF, Bosch Rexroth, HYDAC, SMC, ABB, Omron and other major fluid power and automation product lines. Airline provides systems design, manufacturing, service, installation and repair in addition to the distribution of high-performance products.
