Recently, "2016 China (Quanzhou) high-end manufacturing (smart bearings) Summit" was successfully held by the Quanzhou Ecinomy and Information Committee, Luojiang District Government, Quanzhou City Equipment Manufacturing Association and Deyuan Bearing Manufacturing Co.,Ltd. in Quanzhou.
60 experts from the field of army, navy and air force military equipment and hundreds of business representatives attended the event. Setting "Intelligent Bearings" as the title, they have discussed bearing reliability, intelligence and related technologies.
Bearing is just a small part, but playing a very important role in high-end equipment,such as aerospace equipment. At present, China's high-end bearings mainly rely on imports, and what our country urgently need is the development of independent intellectual property rights and high-tech of the smart bearings. The so-called smart bearings is a small wireless sensor which transmit real-time data in bearings.
In 2015, the world's leading bearing brand SKF, on its official website claimed that they would treat the intelligent of large high-grade bearings as the goal that they improve quality, increasing value-added in the future. Under this situation, China's bearing enterprises began development smart bearings. At the beginning of 2016, Deyuan Bearing Manufacturing Co.,Ltd. invested in intelligent bearing research and development, and now has developed intelligent technology with MEMS microelectromechanical sensors.
In the forum, vice president of Quanzhou City Equipment Manufacturing Association and Deyuan Bearing Manufacturing Co.,Ltd., Lin Deqing made a report on research and development of intelligent bearings. Engineer of Air Force Equipment Research Institute Wu Weixin and China Bearing Industry Association Secretary-General Zhou Yu also made a special report.
Wu Weixin pointed out that according to the relevant data analysis, 1/3 of the aircraft accident is caused by mechanical reasons. And 50% to 60% of mechanical reasons are due to the aircraft engine. Importantly, 1/3 problems of engine is caused by the bearing. Thus, we can see that the bearing is a very critical component of the aerospace, and its stability and advancement directly influence engine.
