370 New Products Developed by ZWZ in the First Half of 2007

Focus on 16 big projects for invigorating of national equipment manufacturing industry, ZWZ had developed more than 370 new products in the first half of 2007, while in the past whole year, there were 710 new products.

After a year of market survey, ZWZ had a fully understanding of the demand of bearings and technical criterion for some major manufacturing equipment. Last year, ZWZ's first phrase of precise bearing manufacturing park was unveiled and came into production. The bearings found their applications in wind power, precise rolling mills, large size precise machine tools, high speed NC machine tools, railway heavy-duty vehicles and underground trains.

This year, ZWZ has succeeded in developing 950 medium width hot strip product line, 1780 and 1580 flying shears bearings for hot rolled coils, special bearings for 1450 type transport roller of rolling mill, special bearings for concrete machine, large-size spindle bearings with heavy duty, high speed, high precise and long life for NC horizontal machine tools, high precise automotive taper roller bearings with long life, big cone angle tapered roller bearings for speed reducers of heavy duty trucks, turntable bearings for Megawatt wind-driven generator, bearings for increasing gear box of wind generator. Among these new products, 80% are used as substitution for the urgent demand import bearings, which indicated that ZWZ has taken substantive steps in products innovation.
