"High-end Bearings Development Strategy" seminar was held in Beijing

A "High-end Bearings Development Strategy" seminar was jointly held by Expert Committee of China Bearing Industrial Association and Engineering Design Institute of Tsinghua University on August 21, 2013.

The event was hosted by director of the Committee of Experts Mr Ren Zhouyu, and related leaders from Investment Division and Industry Division of NDRC, Equipment Division of The Ministry of Industry and Information, China Machinery Industry Federation, etc., were invited to attended for guidance. Leaders and experts from Expert Committee and Secretariat of China Bearing Industrial Association, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and Xi'an Jiaotong University and members of the research group, 24 people in total, joined the discussion.

"High-end Bearing Development Strategy Research" is a consulting topic led by Wang Yuming (Tsinghua University), academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and China Bearing Industry Association was invited to participate in this research. The participants expressed their personal views based on domestic economic development, national defense construction, industrial safety, national industry, people's livelihood, and industry-university-research cooperation, which has guiding significance on the future development of high-end bearings, and even the upgrading and overall development of domestic bearing industry.
